Who We Are
We are two brothers who are passionate about diving and would like to share our passion with the world. We offer a host of packages catering for beginners who have never tried diving before up to experienced divers looking for a challenge or looking to explore a hidden gem diving location with us.
We would like to share the experience of diving with others and teach them the necessary skills required to stay safe while exploring an underwater world.

ANDREW SMIT
Director & Open Water Diving Instructor
I started diving while on holiday visiting family in Cape Town. I finished my Open Water Course as it was time for me to head back home.
A short time later I had the opportunity to move to Cape Town and start diving on a regular basis. The more I dived, the more I fell in love with the underwater world and the wonder that is hiding in plain view of everyone that only a few get to see and experience.
I started to explore more and did my advanced open water course which opened new doors in the diving world and new experiences. This course changed my life – it was as this time I made the decision that this is what I wanted to do! Diving is my way of meditating and it’s my happy place. To be able to dive and become a spectator in the underwater world and to be able to see and interact with various marine species and see how they interact with each other, working together to thrive is quite a humbling experience.
That’s why decided to become a Diving Instructor so that I can help and guide others on this journey so that they may experience this in their own way and start their own journey into the underwater world.

When I was introduced to diving, it was just meant as a fun family activity and something different to experience while on a family holiday. After my training was complete and I went out for my first official dive as a certified diver I was absolutely hooked on the thrill of diving.
Swimming next to a school of “Strepies”, seeing an octopus building its forever home, spotting my first small shark and being able to see and learn about lots of different species of starfish was the most amazing feeling I have ever felt. I can still recall my first dive and the wonderful feeling it gave me so clearly.
Shipwrecks still amaze me, being able to see lost history frozen in time and being made into homes, for millions of critters. These shipwrecks are being turned into a biosphere for all these millions of organisms who call the numerous wrecks of the Southern Peninsula home.
As I stared in awe at this previously hidden world, I knew I had found my life’s passion, to teach and show others the amazing secret world we fondly know as the ocean.

Our vision for Two Brothers Diving is to create an exciting way to experience and explore new places in our fantastic underwater world. We aim to give our guests a way of exploring our beautiful planet by providing all the skills necessary to accomplish this goal safely and efficiently.
OUR misson
As a dive team, we aim to introduce new divers to the world of diving and help certified divers advance their skills & knowledge. Our fun-filled safety orientated courses can be structured to each individual’s needs, offering small group courses for under 4 students per group or a personalised private session.
